I voted for Avast. Up until just a few days ago I was an avid AVG user but the continued incomatibility issues with Adaware's Anniversary Edition and AVG made me finally throw in the towel for AVG. I'll miss it kinda. Well...as much as one can miss an anti-virus tool
Programmer who gave up all skills and became a manager

| Avast for the win! It doesn't hog CPU power like Norton, etc. And it's free!

| McAfee Security Center. Or was this just a poll of the free programs? I think this cost about $50 and protects up to 3 computers. Very thorough. I've never had any viruses or trouble with the program at all. It hasn't blocked anything I really wanted and hasn't let anything through that it shouldn't have, either. Very pleased with it, so far!!~ McAfee protects computer & files, network & Internet, email & IM, and even has parental controls and a veeery nice firewall. What more could you ask for?!
